Interlake Regional Water Board

The Resort Village of Cochin and the Rural Municipality of Meota jointly own the water treatment plant, wells, and main distribution line. The hamlets and the Resort Village of Cochin own the lines located within their respective boundaries. These lines are leased to the Interlake Regional Water Utility under formal agreements.  

We are overseen by a Board of Directors made up of representatives from the participating municipalities. The Board is responsible for setting policies, providing strategic direction, and overseeing the utility's operations.  

The Administrator manages the day-to-day office functions, including customer accounts, billing, and payments.  

The Water Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the water system, responding to service issues, conducting meter readings, and ensuring the safe delivery of water to subscribers.  

Together, the Board of Directors, Administrator, and Water Operator work to ensure the continued delivery of safe, reliable drinking water to the communities we serve.
